1965 royal enfield continental 250gt.
dispatched to kings of oxford 2/ 11/ 1965.
in good condition with gt crankcases but not matching engine / frame.
frame verified as 1965 gt by royal enfield club. (certificate supplied).
v5 in my name shows registration as 2007 with age related number issued in norwich.
has been the subject of an ongoing restoration over several years and owners.
huge amount of new parts fitted since restoration started, have receipts, including mudguards and seat.
new stunning alloy tank made last year painted correct colour with tranfers.
12 volt electrics with boyer bransden electronic ignition.
has been running and sounds healthy with good tickover.
needs finishing to make into a good collectable machine.
all gears select but linkage needs setting up as does the ignition timing. Some other minor finishing required but not a great deal.
this is sold as a project and not a finished bike so no guarantee is implied or given. Absolutely sold as seen. Unfortunately due to a heart attack i have to sell. Priced at £3200 but sensible offers will be considered
