2007 MERCEDES BENZ C200 2. 1 CDi AVANTGARDE SE ESTATE TURBO DIESEL 62, 000 MILES
Welcome to this eBay Classified Advert for my 2007 Mercedes Benz C200 CDi Avantgarde SE, which I must say at this early stage of the listing, must not be confused with the whole host of other Turbo Diesel Estate Mercedes advertised on eBay. Unfortunately the majority of these have covered vast mileages, and whilst this is testament to Mercedes build quality, it is therefore very rare and unusual to find an example which has covered just under 63, 000 miles. At the time of writing the advert the mileage is currently sitting at 62, 930 so is not even properly at the 63, 000 mark either.
As you can see from the photographs, the Mercedes is a very impressive looking car and benefits from the sought after Blue-Black Metallic paintwork which gives such a nice refreshing change on plain and simple black which is so common nowadays. It has a fantastic shine and gloss appearance to the paintwork, and when the sun is shining the metallic really sparkles.
Having only covered nearly 63, 000 miles, obviously the Mercedes drives exactly how it should and testament to the Mercedes build quality they are renowned for. It always starts first turn of the key and all engine levels sit at exactly where they should including oil levels and temperature levels too. The automatic gearbox is smooth in it's operation and there are no untoward noises whatsoever, obviously at this mileage it has seen such little use. The 2. 1 CDi Turbo Diesel engine is a nice balance of power and economy, and I have personally found 45mpg is achievable on a run which makes for a very economical drive indeed. I have covered 700 miles in the past month in the car with no issues whatsoever, it is a pleasure to drive and always receives pleasant comments wherever I go.
In March 2007, the Mercedes was originally registered to Mercedes Benz themselves as a demonstrator (no doubt due to being the top specification Avantgarde SE), and then passed to a lady owner who owned the Mercedes until late 2012. During this time it always wore a private number plate JAN 6D. At the beginning of 2013 it then passed onto the owner I acquired the car from (whereby it also wore another private number plate SUI 8224), and therefore has two owners before myself. During it's lifetime it has evidently been very well looked after with regular service intervals which also backs up the low mileage. Services have been carried out at 9, 796 Miles, 22, 095 Miles, 32, 363 Miles, 46, 352 Miles and 58, 397 Miles. The current MOT expires at the end of August 2017, however I am willing to put a fresh 12 Months MOT on it for the new owner - therefore the Mercedes will come with an MOT until July 2018. As well as the service history booklet with the services detailed, there is the original Mercedes Book Pack, old MOTs, bills etc, and most importantly, 2 sets of keys as well.
The Mercedes is well looked after and regularly cleaned, washed and waxed which translates to it's pleasant appearance - it is worth noting that there are a few marks here and there on the paintwork however nothing that would be deemed as an eyesore at all - please see the photographs to satisfy yourself of the condition. It is a very good looking car indeed which I always feel looks proud of itself when parked up amongst others.
Being the top specification Avantgarde SE model, the interior of the Mercedes is a very nice place to be indeed with no expense spared with the options and specification points that this car has, including all of the usuals of Full Leather Interior, Electric Seats, Heated Seats, Parking Sensors, Cruise Control, ABS, Electric Windows, Electric Mirrors, Air Conditioning (Ice Cold), Climate Control, Very High Quality Stereo System, CD Changer etc etc... The list really is endless and one can most certainly tell the difference between a high specification version like this compared to a lower specification car. As the photographs show, the black leather interior works very well with the modern silver interior trim. Options continue with a full set of genuine Mercedes over mats, and also boot load liner too.
The Mercedes has been a pleasure to own and drive, and I regularly use it as my daily driver and have no hesitation in going anywhere in it come rain or shine. I have a genuine reason for sale, in that when I previously advertised my Porsche Cayenne for sale I mentioned in the description that I was having to sell that due to a change in circumstances meaning I was looking for a more economical car. This Mercedes fitted the bill perfectly in that respect (45MPG as opposed to 20MPG!), however my heart has always been set on a Jaguar XF. Since then, I have now purchased a Jaguar XF which will be my economical daily driver and therefore the Mercedes is now unfortunately surplus to requirements and time for it to move onto pastures new.
