Ok, first things first, I know its not a Cosworth! the badge was on it when I bought it and I do not want to damage the paint trying to remove it!(although nobody has ever pointed this out) But if you think about it, this car makes perfect sense as an alternative, at 177bhp it is just over 20bhp behind the cosworth, but with a super smooth 6cyl, and not the rattly cossie engine.
Its also not a lazy auto, this has the very rare manual gearbox, so it can still be driven with some intent, and with it also having the sportline option it handles great as well.. and as for the looks, they speak for themselves.
On the the cars itself, it was first registered in May 1990, and has only had four ownets in the past 27 years, it also has full Mercedes Benz main dealer history. As such it drives like a new car, not a rattle or vibration... nothing, amazing considering it has covered 137k miles.
Everything works as it should including the electric sunroof. It still has the MB, tool kit, first aid kit and fire extinquisher (all of them complete and unused).
Externally the paintwork looks superb, and the factory bodykit really sets this apart from other 190's it sits on unmarked 15" genunine cosworth alloys, with almost new michelin tyres. It really is a head turner.
The interior is equally perfect with spotless cream leather and walnut cappings. All electrics works and there is no signs of wear. It even still has the original Blaupunkt radio/ cassette ( complete with working electric aerial)
In summary, probably one of the best 190's available, and in my opinion a serious Cosworth alternative for a fraction of the cost.
