If you fancy something totally different, a full on head turner then this is the car for you.....
It was an ex race car beetle and was retired after needing a full on restoration.
There are still a few remnants on it from its race days like the additional beam bracing up front, poly bushes here and there and the IRS conversion mounts still welded to the rear chassis.
Would be a simple bolt up job to change the rear suspension to IRS as the mounts are already there.
It is a Tax exempt 1972 Beetle Hotrod/ Street Rod Pick Up
It has had loads of work done to it with receipts for thousands of pounds.
It's had so much work done I'm not sure where to start.
The Body
It's had a new heater channel plus wheel arch closing panels, door pillar repair panels, new front panel, front side panel and space wheel floor panel, floor pan repair sections to both sides (all the usual)
An earlier bonnet and front panel have been fitted together with early styled 2 inch oversized fibreglass sloping wings and headlights.
The rear wings are standard bolt on with a custom made oversized panel to allow for rear wing upgrades etc.
The rear truck bed is a one off custom, made out of steel and lined in used pallet timber.
Rear bed has a storage area directly behind the cab and is hinged and fitted with quick release alloy clips.
The lid over the engine bay is fully removable and again held on with quick release alloy clips.
Rear tailgate is custom made tubular framed and folds down flush to the body.
External fibreglass sunvisor fitted
Large Aluminium Roof Rack with Custom made removable mounts. The roof rack can be unbolted and the mounts can be used with roof bars if you prefer.
The rear bed storage area can still be accessed with the roof rack in place. Alternatively you can mount the roof rack directly to the rear bed.
The Interior
All carpeted
Battery is hidden within a compartment behind the seat.
There are small storage areas behind each seat.
There are a pair of Half Leather Black Porsche Tombstone seats with the Porsche insignia printed across them. One seat could do with a little repair as the leather has started to split a little.
There is a 65mm steel Roll Bar built into the inner structure of the cab area behind the seats.
The ignition key has been changed to an earlier type dash mounted key.
The fuse box has been upgraded to a blade type holder
New 52mm Fuel Gauge & Pod mounted under dash.
Pool ball gear knob.
The Engine
Its a good running engine I think from big boys toys in essex at some point because of the colour of the engine casing. It's green. Assumed engine size 1300cc.
Just had a full service, new spark plugs, new ignition coil & leads, new clear red distributor cap, new oil & polyslip preservative.
Has a new Power Spark electronic ignition upgrade
Fitted with a new Electric Fuel Pump and a New 009 Distributor.
The exhaust is a 4 into 1 which has a custom made 3 inch Stainless Steel silencer. Sounds nice and meaty.

It is fitted new brake pipes all round plus 4 new brake wheel cylinders
It has a new brake master cylinder and brake switch

New front 5 stud wheel adaptors
Gearbox is strapped as well.
It has 5 stud Empi Sprintstar Alloys fitted with nearly new tyres and New chromed wheel nuts
It has a new Chrome front bumper
Loads of Stainless Steel nuts and bolts used throughout the truck.
It has been stone chipped underneath and wax oiled.
It is Matt Black inside and out just in case you couldn't tell.
