BMW E30 325i, 1990, professionally converted from 1. 8 SE Lux.
BMW E30 325i H reg 1990 classic. Very rare dark green metallic paint(Malachite Green). Manual. Desirable 2 door model.
Originally started life as a 318i. 3 owners from new. Originally came from Chelsea, London so solid all round and not rotten. Complete strip of shell and professionally rebuilt. All running gear of a 325i including sub frames. The 325i had 93k on clock.
All painted prior to rebuild. Original BBS 14" wheels with caps. Suspension coil overs - adjustable springs all round. Mtech steering wheel and rare Mtech 2 rear spoiler. New speakers to front. New interior seats fitted. New straight through Janex exhaust system. Also fitted a quick shift gears.
Flew past MOT with one advisory being a slow return brake pedal but this has been remedied with a new brake pedal spring that I could only source in Germany. Mot expiry March 2018.
Lot of extras: sunroof, electric windows front and rear, headlight washer and wiper, rear wing, spoiler kit.
This is an experience to drive. Very tight and very fast. All paperwork present. Am selling to upgrade to another project.
Small thread pull on driver’s seat. Front wings are in good condition; however I have a set of original E30 wings in Dolomite Grey to replace if preferred. These were sourced from the US as very difficult to find originals now. I didn't fit the power steering rack as I prefer the feel without, better handling and feel of the road. But this is a doable option for the new owner.
This car is ready to enjoy or, due to rarity, to store as these models are increasing in value. But you will be waved at people who love your car, people will ask to take photos, there’ll be random tooting and thumbs up. It is an absolute head turner.
The deep purr of the engine, the low level stance and being a cool classic BMW E30; this has been my favourite project.
