Manx Norton Weslake/ Nourish brand new kit project
The main parts consist of :
Replica Manx Norton chassis with oval section swingarm, Reynolds 531 tubing used throughout and manufactured by the 'BSA Company Limited' Coventry.
Weslake/ Nourish 'NRE' 500cc Race engine with interspan ignition, built at the Leicestershire works, also included is a pair of un-plated exhaust downpipes (not pictured).
Replica Manx 4LS alloy front hub/ spindle and Manx conical rear alloy hub/ spindle assembly.
Manx replica forged fork sliders including manx stanchions with all alloy damper internals.
Manx Norton Fork yokes.
Bob Newby belt drive clutch including correct belt pulley sprocket for NRE engine.
Norton replica gearbox shell, inner casing and a choice of 2 outer casings (kick start or non kick start option), quaife 4 speed close ratio gear clusters including all parts to complete the gearbox build.
Manx alloy 5 gallon complete fuel tank manufactured by the 'BSA Company Limited' including manx replica alloy oil tank and fittings.
34mm Amal Mk2 carbs and many other parts not mentioned above.
A moth balled project that was never completed, all parts were purchased back in 1988/ 89 and are still in unused condition. Complete with a file full of receipts all dating from 1988/ 89. The cost of these parts today would be in excess of £16000, the engine alone costing in the region of £7500 and as already mentioned all parts are still new and unused.
