I have for sale my Original Road Wars 2003 Vauxhall Omega Estate 3. 2 V6 manual Police Special. A rare vehicle, as the manual version of the 3. 2 V6 was not on sale to the public and was specially built for Police forces in the UK, the vehicle registration document states, “3. 2 V6 Special”.
This genuine and original Thames Valley Police vehicle once patrolled the M1 motorway and surrounding trunk roads out of its base in Luton and can be seen in several episodes of the Sky TV programme, Road Wars. The car has been meticulously restored back to the exact spec it would have had when in service from 2003 – 2007.
The car itself is in mint condition as you can see from the photographs and has covered less than 114000 miles. These cars were looked after like a baby by the Police and were spared nothing when maintained. This car has recently had brand new tyres all round and new rear gas shocks, it needs nothing else.
Even by today’s standards this is still a very fast car and its 3. 2 V6 engine delivers 219 bhp, 0-60 in 5. 9 seconds and a top speed of over 155mph. These were the first ever 155mph plus, Roads Policing Vehicles used in the UK.

The car is currently in Ireland where it has been doing the shows this summer. I recently took the car to a large show in Dublin and it was surrounded by people all day long, I was amazed by the car’s popularity. It can be legally driven on public roads for transport to and from shows and exhibitions provided that all of the lights and Police insignia is covered and the various signs are placed on the car that clearly states it is not in service and is an exhibition vehicle only, as per the photographs. All of the required covers and signage for road use are included.
This car is of museum standard and not to be missed by either the collector of emergency vehicles or the Vauxhall/ Opel enthusiast, you don’t see these for sale very often and most of them have ended up on the drifting circuit.
Comes with a huge and very detailed service history including the TVP print out from the day it was new. The car can be test driven but bring cash if you want to drive.
