The Plymouth brand, was introduced by Chrysler, as replacement for the 4 cylinder Chryslers. The appearance of the car strongly resembles early Chryslers. The make was the big competitor for Ford and Chevrolet. Until 1934 Plymouth remained loayl to the 4 cylinder engine. The original price in 1931 was $690,-, which was very low.
