VW Golf Mk2 Driver, 1. 6 petrol, 5 speed manual, 44, 000 miles documented, 2 owners from new. Registered in August 1990 but one of the first 1991 models. Amazingly rust-free due to many years of no winter use: the first owner, who kept the car until 2014, wintered in South Africa and returned to Derby for the summer. It has power steering, a sunroof and a Panasonic radio/ cassette and is complete with the original literature pack. The interior is in lovely condition - there's no driver's seat wear - though the headlining is a bit saggy. This year the Golf was in everyday use through the summer, with several round trips between Cambridge and Edinburgh. A recent service included oil/ filter and anti-freeze changes, new plugs and leads and two new tyres.
