We recently completed the North Coast 500 in this car, just under 3000miles at 30mpg fully loaded. Its 3. 0L V6 engine mated to the 6 speed Manual 'box is fantastic. As long distance tourers go the Avantime has few peers and it eats miles with more comfort and space than almost any other car you can think of. It is endlessly practical and is the true forerunner of all the new Crossovers, just better!!
Some age related scuffs & the usual bubbles on the roof bars. It is 15yrs old!
