Beskrivning
I am listing this Bay for a very good mate who is self employed and very busy at the moment and I'm retired with some free time on my hands
Here we have a 1969 RHD Early Bay window tin top van / bus / camper which was a South African import and has been in the UK since 2010.
current MOT , 30th August 2018
Owned for the last 7 years and had a new VW Heritage new 1600 cc twin port engine fitted 2013 with a vintage speed exhaust, new clutch which have all done approximately 6K since.
a few of the good bits
also fitted Red 9 Design front beam / suspension and disc brake set up , red 9 design 4 inch spring plates on the back
wood rim MCJ steering wheel
propex heater fitted
leisure battery split charger
headlining and front seats done by Bromsgrove interiors
bad bits,
a few rust bubbles / spots on base of drivers door, a couple of small spots on rear window surround, pics available of these areas
no heat exchangers fitted at the moment
the engine lid has had some holes welded up on the inside face, not the best job in the world but it's the original one and on the inside, just being honest.
I will describe this as a solid honest van which will suit "current trends" and is all set to drive off into the sunset , sorry I know it is not spring yet but you get the idea.
or a very solid basis for a full restoration if someone wanted to go down that route, I wouldn't do that but that is up to the new owner
OK , I could go on and on about it but it obviously needs to be seen for you to make your own assessment / judgement.
extra pics available by email
serious enquiries only and please NO more picture collectors and at least have the good manners to send a reply
The asking price is negotiable if you are sat inside it with a cash deposit, I will listen to a realistic offer but please bear in mind I don't have to sell the Bus for financial reasons.
It is being sold for a potential new purchase, which has now been purchased
If you are serious then please contact me to arrange a viewing. We are in Penrhyn Bay near Llandudno and the kettle will be on.
possible p/ ex considered for myself as I am tempted to have another classic, it might just be worth a phone call
A new battery has been fitted and it is out of storage and ready for a new owner as of last weekend
