This is an early Formula Mirage 1200. One of 17 made. Matching Engine/ chassis numbers. It has a 1st series 180 engine and ND clocks. It has covered less than 12500 miles in total.
When I bought it the 7c cams were long gone. I replaced them with the F1 profile cams made by Keith Nairn to provide a more progressive power delivery.
It also has been fitted with the Redax alternator conversion and Saches electronic ignition (all original parts have been kept).
The cycle parts have been fully refurbished. The frame has been powdercoated and all chrome re-chromed. The clocks have been restored with new faces. However the tank/ seat unit is in original paint to add a degree of patina appropriate to the age of the bike.
Shocks are YSS. The exhaust is ceramic coated in black as Malcolm Cox was not doing his black chrome replacements at the time.
It comes with confirmation paperwork from Richard Slater as to its originality and comprehensive documentation as to its past .
