I`m selling my 36 year ( 1982 ) old GOLF 1 Convertible GTI. Car been refurbished, 1. 5-liter petrol engine, originally a 3-speed automatic but I replaced with the 5-speed manual transmission ( to make it faster :-)) Car was painted 2 years ago, it has no corrosion, the floor is healthy and preserved.
Car has:
- new upholstery plus floor covering
- new radiator
- new exhalation system
-sport suspension
-all 17 "alloys
- new roof covering
- new engine cover (pneumothorax)
-New filters and oil
I owned the car for 3 years and have never let me down, the counter`s mileage is 123 000 (something is wrong with the tachometer and does not show the speed ), passed MOT in December without any problems.
The car never rode in the rain, I always tried to drive in a nice weather. I will add that the car is garaged and not for everyday use, car was not checked in terms of tightness but during the washing was no leaks.
Unfortunately, I have to sell this great car as I`m changing house.
I want to add that insurance for the whole year, it`s the costs of about £120.
