The Wrangler is arguably an indirect progression from the Willy’s MB through the Willy’s civilian Jeeps (Jeep CJ) of the mid-1940’s through 1980’s that were produced by Kaiser-Jeep and by American Motors Corporation.
By the time of this version the demand for a utility 4×4 was high and the Wrangler became very popular and was soon seen as a cool car both sides of the Atlantic.
This is an officially supplied UK spec example and has the best configuration of a lusty 4 litre six cylinder engine combined with a very slick 5 speed manual gearbox.
She has been serviced regularly and very well maintained with a history file.
If the mood takes you the roof section can be easily removed transforming into a traditional open top Jeep!
On the road she is very satisfying to drive with lots of torque and compared to most of its rivals very smooth and refined.
