We are delighted to present for sale this Austin® Mini, owned by an ex-engineer, which we have received in part-ex for one of our previous vehicles. Throughout ownership the previous owner made lots of improvements, which are all supported by a very large history file of invoices and receipts. The vehicle has been rebuilt with the brief of making it look like a "Jack Knight" Hot Rod Mini.
On the outside, the vehicle has been given a custom paint finish, in Racing Green with Orange Stripes. The chrome has been re-done all around, including the front and rear bumpers and front grill. Flared arches have been fitted with alloy wheels to complete the hot rod look.
On the inside, Cobra Bucket Seats are fitted, along with a roll-cage which is safety certified. Although the dashboard is not standard, the interior has been done to a high-standard - a bluetooth stereo is fitted with auxiliary input, and a heater is fitted with directional blow, so air can be aimed at the screen or into the cabin. The speedo is an electronically calibrated unit to ensure accuracy. A sunroof is fitted which can be operated from the inside, and both windows roll down with adjustment for this on each door.
Out on the road is where this girl really shines - the rebuilt engine is superb, giving significantly more power over standard, with the exhaust giving a lovely sweet tone. It is great fun to drive - and surprisingly comfortable on the poor roads around our premises!
