I have owned this car since August 2003, unfortunately after having some health issues have decided to sell it.,
When I purchased this car it had a genuine mileage of 1900 kilometres, today it still has only 2600 kilometres recorded.
Bought as an investment the car has been meticulously stored under a cover in my garage for the last 14 years being only moved for polishing and regular engine running.
Only last year the car was fully recommissioned to be used in a classic car road test for a popular magazine.
The recommissioning included renewing all the oils and filters for the engine and gearbox, brake fluid change, spark plugs etc, etc.
There are no faults with the car its absolutely as new with everything original including the 18” OZ magnesium wheels, there is no damage around the vehicle at all.
Looking around the internet I haven’t seen another available in the UK and I believe it’s the only one registered with DVLA.
This one is number 122 out of the 250 that were produced by Volkswagen.
