Hey there guys so just putting this out there to see what happens. In no rush to sell by any means. So here we have my 1986 Nissan Leopard Ultima 3. 0 V6. I've owned the car for just over 3 years now and absolutely love it! Due to struggling for storage and work space I'm looking to go back down to 1 car for a while or a slightly smaller car that will fit in my garage.
Mileage on her is 136K Km (approx 85K Miles) and for the age is in pretty good condition not requiring much at all! Last MOT picked up on rear brakes, front lower balljoints (landed today and if I get chance will change before hand) and some corrosion on the back of the Sills. But all in all has just gone through MOT so she's roadworthy. For a 1986 motor this thing is loaded to hell and pretty much everything still works as it should! She has auto window wipers, auto headlights, cornering headlights, air adjustable lumbar support, electric drivers seat, digital dash, Cruise control 2 mode power steering and electric windows all of which still work as they should!
From factory it had sonar adjustable dampers which by the time I bought the car had become tired and these items are now obsolete so with that the front lower arms, brand new tie rods (also running steering rack extenders) and hubs were changed to accept S13 suspension and now sits on Daiyama S13 adjustable coilovers front and rear, these have covered no more than 2000miles so far. Also when I first got the car it came on non OE steel wheels and these have now been changed for a set of 17" Volk Group AV17 alloys. She was resprayed for me last year thanks to my wife, it was originally gloss white and has now been resprayed in Nissan white Pearl top and Lexus grey pearl bottom.
Engine is a 3. 0 V6 (VG30DE) and runs great! Spark plugs, oil filter and fuel filter have all be changed within the last year, exhaust system is still stock apart from the rear silencer being deleted and it sounds awesome! Coupled onto a 4 speed auto gearbox it's a fantastic cruiser! It also has an LSD on the rear from factory too!
So being a 30+ year old car it does have a couple things which do need addressing but fortunately nothing major. The power steering pump has a leak, as previously mentioned the front lower balljoints need replacing but weather and time permitting these will be changed very soon Balljoints have arrived today go get the job done. there's a bit of corrosion on the rear of the Sills, I think this is due to the rear window seals perishing and moisture has seeped behind them while being parked up for the winter and ran down to the insides of the sill. It's only a small area so can easily be rectified. Lastly at some point in the past somebody had retrofitted rear seat belts, these have been removed since but a small part of the C Pillar trims have been cut away to accept the seat belts.
I think that's everything. As far as I know this is the only Zenki Leopard in the UK (99. 9% sure at least) these things are pretty rare in Japan let alone the rest of the world so if you really wanna be different this is the car for you! Ive recently looked on Goonet and Tradecarview and the only F31 Leopards available are Kouki (face-lift) and cheapest is around 8K before shipping for an Ultima equivalent like this!
Looking for around £8000 but open to sensible offers. I do also have an awesome as hell set of period correct Southernways Epsilon Mesh Magnesium 16" alloys that could go with it for the right deal. Preferably looking to sell but would possibly consider a PX (cash my way only) for something a little smaller so it can fit in my garage I would ONLY consider another Jap motor and relatively practical as going down to 1 car potentially means it'd also be my daily, nothing newer than say 1998 either.
