This model was produced by Vauxhall in 2003 to commemorate 100 years of car production. Based on the Vectra SRi Turbo with it's 175PS turbo-charged engine they were all produced in metallic Silver Lightning paint with Irmscher tailgate spoiler and 17" alloys, unique blue cloth/ black leather seats, silver seatbelts and special 'turbo' instrumentation. Just 400 were produced and there are now less than 100 left on the road.
This particular car has had just three owners from new, and has a full service history to confirm it's 100k miles from new. There are also many invoices to complement the service book. The last service was in September 2017 and the MOT runs until September 2018. The tyres are all matching original spec Goodyears.
A full stainless steel exhaust system was recently fitted (costing nearly £600) and it gives the car a nice exhaust note without being excessively noisy - in fact it is surprisingly quiet in normal driving.
The car drives extremely smooth with pleny of power when you wish to use it, the turbo giving a very enjoyable boost when accelerating.
The bodywork is in generally very good condition. There is some surface rust starting to show on the rear wheel arches, and there is a slight graze on the nearside rear arch but it could be sorted fairly easily.
Standard features include air conditioning, electric front windows, remote central locking, alarm/ immobiliser, auto dimming rear view mirror, automatic wipers, front fog lights, cruise control, radio/ cd player, power steering with audio controls, half-leather trim, leather steering wheel, ABS, drivers, passengers and side airbags, 6 speed gearbox, rear heating/ cooling vents, front and rear 12v outlets, etc.
All warning lights come on as they should when the ignition is first turned on, and all then go off when they should.
Two keys are present, as is the all-important security code card.
Myself and my friend have had this as part of a small collection of performance Vauxhalls (along with an Astra Coupe Edition 100) but the option to repurchase my old Vectra GSi has led us to decide to let this one go.
