Brief History:
The Toyota Cecila GT4 is a bit of a hidden gem these days. Built to tear up stages in the World Rally Championship and introduced first in 1986, it offered all-wheel drive and a turbocharged engine before the likes of Subaru and Mitsubishi got in on the act. However, by the ST205's launch in 1994, WRC competition was fierce. In fact, it was so desperate that Toyota's rally team was caught competing with an out-of-spec air restrictor, ending its works career with just one win to its name. That was a shame for now house hold names like Carlos Sainz, Juha Kankkunen and Didier Auriol because as the first car to use anti-lag to keep the turbo spinning off-throttle, it paved the way for many famous rallying machines.

This rare example is one of the limited edition 2500 production run of WRC spec cars and so has the high level rear spoiler, upper bonnet wing, intercooler water spray bar, water injection, sport manifold and antilag components installed but not operational. It also has the very rare full black leather interior and electric sunroof. Being originally an import and the more power full ST205 version it also has 255bhp, climate control, heated electric folding wing mirrors and Kenwood CD stereo. (Original headset is included). Vehicle is fitted with an alarm/ immobiliser & spare key set.
The Engine, exhaust, suspension are as standard and the car still boasts the Original 3 Spoke wheels it left the factory with having recently been refurnished which were designed like this to house the larger uprated Supra braking system from factory and are now fitted with brand new Pirelli Pzero Assimetrico 225/ 50/ 16 tyres
Just had timing belt, power steering belt, auxiliary belt, oil, oil filter and brake fluid changed in September 2017 before being placed back into a collection ever since.
All receipts from Japan and service documents here in uk make up a sizeable folder and include a hard back book about the GT4WRC cars.
