I am selling my beautiful silver (NH131) Honda VFR 750 FT. It's a 1996 build, originally registered in January 1997.
Less than 28000 miles and I'm the second owner.
Virtually full Honda service history, I did the service at 24K, but it has been serviced at 540, 3996, 7906, 12277, 17301 and 20088 by Honda dealers.
It has never been dropped and the bodywork is almost perfect, only a few minor parking marks on the left mirror casing and minor wear marks, on the body. I can send photos if needed.
It has been unfailingly reliable, only a reg/ rec change, battery and a couple of bulbs. Currently running on good Pilot Road tyres and the rear is only a few hundred miles old as I had a puncture on the old one last year.
It is as it came from the factory, other than having a Scotoiler fitted and I changed the front brake hoses to HEL braided lines.
I replaced the exhaust collector with a good second hand one a few years ago and it has two end cans, the original which had some small damage from my wife's boot when she was riding pillion and a replacement standard end can I replaced it with.
This was my second VFR. When I sold my first one I was without a bike for a few years and when I was looking for another I tested everything, but ended up hunting down a good VFR as nothing I tried came close. If you've ridden one, you'll know what I mean! I spent 9 months looking for one of the last proper, VFRs which hadn't been dropped and eventually found this, a one owner bike owned by someone who was as fanatical about these as I am.
It comes with the single seat cover too, of course, and the Service booklet, owners manual, original toolkit and Datatag forms, old MOTs, records etc.
It's breaking my heart to sell it, but I've been a butterfly biker since I bought it (only riding in summer) and have done very few miles over the last few years.
I planned to keep this until my retirement, but I've recently been having some back issues, which means moving an over-engineered bike in and out of the garage to get my old car out is a bit of a pain (literally!)..
This is as good a VFR as you will find (according to the local garage who MOT it) and these single sided swing arm Viffers are the best of the lot. I'm not looking for offers.
MOT until August 2019.
