My spare car has become a bit too needy, so it needs a new home! I've owned this car about 10 years, it was a runner in daily use recently until it suffered a vibrating gearbox, very noticeable in 1st, 3rd and 5th. After stripping the box, the number one suspect is the input bearing - the gearbox is still in bits.
The car is rough around the edges, rust wise it does have some issues around the back end, boot, sills are tatty but reasonably solid, front valance is quite poor. There is also some damage were someone tried to steal it a few years back. It really is best viewed in person so you can make a judgement. It can be heard running but cant be driven as the gearbox is out and apart.
If I wanted to put it back on the road, I would replace the brake and fuel lines as the look fairly corroded. Also the ABS warning light pops on over 60 MPH, which I think is down to the rear ABS rings, they look pretty poor.
The car is SORN but still has a month or two MOT.
