This type of 2 door coupe body was manufactured by the Carrozzeria Touring in 1931/ 32 and would have originally been fitted to a 6c 1750 Alfa Romeo, although could be fitted to any medium sized pre war chassis.
These were made exclusively for Alfa Romeo by Carrozzeria Touring and were built to the Weymann patent, the upper part being fabric covered. Two of these stunning, light weight berlinetta were entered for the 1931 Mille Miglia and caused much interest when they finished 1st and 2nd in their class.
This particular body is an accurately reconstructed body made in Italy using an original as a template in the 1980’s in Italy. It has been carefully stored since. Included are more recently made wings and rear luggage trunk.
Time and space mean that sadly it has to find a new home. Difficult thing to price so make an offer!
