Description
Vehicle in very good condition. The bodywork has been polished and, over the last year, the sheet metal of the sills and the area beneath the rear bumper have been replaced. The interior is its original from 1968, not perfect but decent. The headlining fabric and the seal around the roof need replacing because it is deformed and could let water in. There is a dent on the bottom that suggests an impact with a stone or a sudden bump because the nose is fine. Mechanically it is basically sound, once the suspension air spheres have been replaced; the tyres are new and still to be mounted and at the moment it is with a well-known vintage Citroën specialist who is replacing the wiring inside the dashboard; in fact, I was told, in 1968 Citroën bought the wires for the electrical systems in the former Yugoslavia. These wires deteriorate externally over the years, risking the vehicle catching fire, so they did not hesitate to carry out this work. Original period documents as well as the plates assigned at the Citroën dealer in Saluzzo (Cuneo), the original manuals are also present. Purchased in the 80s while it slept at the bottom of a warehouse, it has been cared for and cherished for over 30 years by the current owner. Never slept outside but always stored undercover and with plenty of sheets on it...
