Description

In the context of a real estate purchase I am selling with a pang in my heart:

DSuper5 from 1973. Owner since 2013. Normal registration document.
Technical inspection OK (passed on 25/ 07/ 2025, see the last photo). Do not worry about the remark concerning the identification of the chassis number; a CT centre on 2 mounts it and it is simply due to there being a "0" before the full number on the registration document but not on the chassis).
Restoration almost entirely by a professional specialist DS (I will share their contact details if you want to verify with them everything that has been done). In the photos you will therefore find many "before" restoration photos (easy to recognise) and then the photos of the current state after restoration.

Details below:

-->Exterior: chassis restored (done by the professional from whom I bought the vehicle in 2013), complete hydraulic system changed, complete exhaust new, steering wheel, brakes (front and rear calipers) new, carburettor rebuilt, high-pressure hyperbar pump new, circuit-breaker new, starter new, alternator with new regulator, electronic ignition new (but original ignition supplied), wiring harness new, battery, 5 new spheres, sandblasted and repainted rims, heating radiator new, bonnet lining new, sandblasted and re-chromed fasteners, bumper trim with thermostatic valve, height corrector front and rear, power steering new, petrol tank new. Last works in March 2025: new exhaust pipe for the engine block, new headlight directional linkage, new headlights …

Paint still very high quality (it had been repainted when I bought it) but not perfect, meaning the car looks very very good but if you get very close you can see a few small waves (probably due to a re-masticating when it was repainted) and to my knowledge only 3 very small blisters (which were already present when I bought it in 2013 and have not evolved since, which is a good sign). In one of the photos you will see 2 of these small blisters located at the level of the driver’s door lock barrel.

New tyres

-->Interior: dashboard repainted, door handles, quarter panels new, seatbelts new, carpets new and rubber coating under the carpet, and sky seats in very good condition.

In short, a huge number of new parts or restored parts. File with many invoices and photos.

On the important side to know: when I bought the vehicle it was supplied assembled with a DY3 engine instead of a DX2 (so not the right engine for a DSuper5). I have the whole file with the judicial expert opinion available. Happy with this DY3 I did not rebuild or change it (but we did remove it during restoration and therefore replaced the engine supports) but since that was my intention I nevertheless bought a DX2 (after months of searching!) in good condition (with gearbox).

For information I am also selling this DX2 engine + gearbox (not included in the asking price) but I will not sell it before the car in case the car buyer wants this engine to redo it calmly while still enjoying the car with its DY3 engine.

Best regards
