Description
For a real estate purchase I am selling with a heavy heart:
DSuper5 from 1973. Owner since 2013. Normal registration document.
Technical inspection OK (passed on 25/ 07/ 2025, see last photo). Do not worry about the note regarding the chassis number identification; a two-centre inspection station flags it and it is simply due to there being a "0" before the full number on the registration certificate but not on the chassis.
Almost fully restored by a DS specialist professional (I can share their contact details if you want to verify with them everything that has been done). In the photos you will find a number of "before" restoration photos (easy to recognise) and then the current state after restoration.
Details below:
-->Exterior: chassis restored (done by the professional from whom I bought the vehicle in 2013), complete hydraulic system changed, complete exhaust new, steering wheel, brakes (front and rear calipers) new, carburettor rebuilt, high-pressure hyperbar pump new, circuit-breaker new, starter motor new, alternator with regulator new, electronic ignition new (but original ignition supplied), new wiring loom, battery, 5 new spheres, sandblasted and repainted rims, heating radiator new, bonnet lining new, sandblasted and re-chromed fixings, bumper fittings with thermostat valve, height correctors front and rear, power steering new, fuel tank new. Last works March 2025: new cylinder head exhaust pipe, new directional headlight linkage, new headlights …
Paint still of very good quality (it had been repainted when I bought it) but not perfect, in other words the car looks very, very good but if you stand very close you can see a few small waves (probably due to re-sealing when it was repainted) and to my knowledge only 3 tiny blisters (which were already present when I bought it in 2013 and have not evolved since, which is a good sign). In one of the photos you will see 2 of these small blisters located at the door barrel of the driver's door.
New tyres
-->Interior: dashboard repainted, door handles, door linings new, seat belts new, carpets new and rubber under the carpet, and sky seats in very good condition.
In short, a huge number of new or refurbished parts. File with many invoices and photos.
On the important things to know: when I bought the vehicle it came with a DY3 engine installed instead of a DX2 (so not the correct engine for a DSuper5). I have the entire file with the judicial report available. Happy with this DY3 I did not rebuild or replace it (but we did remove it during the restoration and therefore we did change the engine mounts obviously) but since that was my intention I did nevertheless buy a DX2 (after months of searching!) in good condition (with gearbox).
For information I am also selling this engine DX2 + gearbox (not included in the asking price) but I will not sell it before the car in case the buyer of the car wants this engine to redo it calmly while still enjoying the car with its DY3 engine.
