The bodywork was restored a few years ago and received a complete new paint job. The car is in very good condition, with a uniform colour and an excellent shine. After professional orbital polishing by our workshop, we found a few small paint defects on the left front and left rear wings, as well as a small scratch on the right rear wing (2 cm). The chrome bumpers and grips were replaced a few years ago and are still in near-new condition. The chrome trim (grille, mirrors, door handles, etc.) is complete, aligned and in excellent condition, as is the bootlid. The chrome on the grille is slightly oxidised on the driver's side. This model is fitted with the optional "Badge bar" and two fully functional LUCAS long spans. The black leatherette soft top is in good condition. We did note a small cut above the rear window. The mica on the rear window is perfectly translucent. The soft top is easy to fit and watertight in accordance with the standards of the time. This model is fitted with a "Black" leatherette soft top cover in excellent condition. The 4 chromed 15'' wire wheels are in perfect condition, as are the 4 chromed knock-offs. The 2 front tyres will be replaced as new prior to delivery. The 2 rear VREDESTEIN Sprint Classic tyres show less than 10% wear. This model retains its original spare wheel (painted wire wheel) as well as its jack and crank. Among the interesting equipment and options available on this model are the LUCAS long spans, the Le Mans-type fuel filler cap, the "Black" leatherette soft top cover, the chrome bootlid and the interior storage cover. Interior: The interior is in excellent original condition. The Black leatherette upholstery with Gold piping is in excellent condition. The "Black" leatherette door jambs and pockets are perfectly taut, with only a few access marks. The trim on the top of the passenger door has a slight tear. The burr walnut dashboard is in good condition, as is all the woodwork, which shows no cracks or discolouration of the varnish. The "Black" leatherette dashboard cover is also in perfect condition. All the original SMITHS instrumentation is fully functional. The dashboard lighting and ventilation are no longer in working order.
