I am offering for sale my BMW R75/ 6, first registration: 07/ 1976, in my possession since 07/ 2007, bought with 57, 200 km on the clock, and totalling 62, 760 km to date, purchased at the time for its “original” condition and its low mileage, and sold because of the few kilometres done since (barely 5, 500 km); I believe I am its 3rd owner, this machine has not undergone any modifications and is in its original spec, frame number and engine number are identical – matching numbers; I have fitted a maintenance-free battery (no starting issues, and 5–6 kg lighter than original), plus 2 Hoske-type silencers (sound and safety), it has its toolkit and its pump. At purchase I replaced the clutch disc (rear main bearing oil seal leak), as well as the top-end gaskets (oil leaks from the valve stem guides); piston rings replaced, valve seats re-seated, internal carb overhaul, as well as replacement of cables (throttle, choke, clutch), the diode bridge replaced, installed aviation-type front brake hose, fitted with two Metzeler tyres, front brake pads and rear shoes with under 4000 km; front fork crown type “R90S” with painted threads and very effective mirrors; This motorcycle is in very good condition for its 50 years and is ready to hit the road. On 7 December 2024, the front brake caliper was removed, the piston and seals replaced following piston seizure. The MOT was carried out on 21 January 2025 (no defects) and will be renewed at sale.
