Description
This Porsche 356 C model presented here is in a very good state of preservation. With the model year 1964, the 356 C replaced the 356 B. From an aesthetic point of view, the C series was hardly distinguishable from the B series. The modified wheels with flatter hubcaps without the Porsche badge were the striking features. The new design of the hubcaps stemmed from the fact that all 356s were now fitted with disc brakes as standard.
This model was completely restored between 2006 and 2008, the body completely dismantled and sandblasted, fitted with a Porsche 912 1600 cm3 75hp engine, a cylinder kit (liners, pistons) was fitted in 2010 bringing the displacement to 1720 cm3, a new clutch, brakes rebuilt in 2010, fitted with 12 volts, electric fuel pump....
The car has been driven very little since and has been part of a collection of several Porsche 356s belonging to the same owner since 2012... A very substantial file of restoration invoices (we have been able to collect over €24, 000 worth of invoices) will accompany the vehicle at the time of sale, as well as an expert appraisal drawn up in 2008 with a photo file of the restoration.
