Description
Wood restored or replaced to new before import. Hull and underside treated in Holland prior to import. After purchase, engine removed and rectified. Meter read 72, 529 miles (not kilometres as stated on invoice) when removed. Current mileage 73, 628 miles. Coil, water pump and timing changed, new. Clutch new (bearing on bearing). Circuit breaker fitted. Battery changed. Original brakes improved: original 7" front drums replaced by 8" drums of latest models, new brake shoes and linings, hoses changed to "aviation" models. Rear drums kept in 7" but opened and checked, hose also changed for an "aviation" model. Brake servo added, a period option (new Lockheed servo). Banjo steering wheel changed. Like all British cars not intended for export, the steering is right-hand. Extended gearshift lever. I turned a pearwood handle + Morris logo inlay. Morris special plates from Frampton + "GB" oval from Jepson.
Interior as new, front seat upholstery changed before import. Body in good condition, paintwork correct.
