Sometimes there are rare gems in our collection that we are proud to present. This magnificent Jaguar XK150 FHC is undoubtedly a rare gem. And that's not just because of its elegant, sporty design, taken from the legendary XK series. The magnificent black and silver colour combination underlines its elegant lines and gives this XK150 an extra touch of class. The beige leather interior is a sublime combination. This magnificent Jaguar XK150 FHC was delivered in Paris. It is therefore a car of European origin, produced in 1957 in Coventry. Registered in France in 1958, it was still, at that time, entirely black with a beige interior. In 1998, this magnificent Jaguar was sold (via Christie's auction house) to a Greek enthusiast. Various documents and photographs show the car to be registered in Greece. The Greek owner took it with him when he emigrated to England. The car was then fully restored (circa 2000) by renowned Jaguar specialists Guy Broad and Don Law. During this thorough and meticulous restoration, the engine block was also overhauled and upgraded to the specification of a 3. 8 block. In addition, various technical improvements were made, making this magnificent Jaguar XK150 more suitable for participation in various rallies. The car also had a FIVA identity card for this purpose. The power of this unique Jaguar XK150 is estimated at around 240 bhp. In 2017, this car was sold (via Bonhams) in Denmark to a classic car specialist. From Denmark, it was resold in the Netherlands. Since 2019, this magnificent XK150 has been registered in the Netherlands. It has been maintained with great love and care over the years. This is reflected not only in the documentation provided, but above all in its exceptional condition. The bodywork is still in very good condition, and its elegant two-tone colour (black and metallic grey) offers a deep, magnificent shine. The chrome and trim are also in brilliant condition. Rubber and trim are also in good condition. The body components fit together perfectly and the doors close securely. This magnificent 6-cylinder engine is not only impressive to look at, but also a pleasure to listen to. The engine compartment is neat and well maintained. Once again, it's clear that this Jaguar XK150 has been restored with the utmost care. This Jaguar XK150 is a real driver's car. The 5-speed Getrag gearbox shifts with exceptional precision and the car responds with exceptional smoothness and precision to the accelerator.
