Motors Corner is pleased to offer this Chevrolet Corvette C3, year 1981, the final evolution of the C3, notable for its sculpted lines, the characteristic 80s finish and its timeless glass T-top.
This Corvette arrived in France several years ago after a stay in England, later purchased in 2015 by a famous French actor. It currently totals around 80, 300 miles / approx. 130, 000 km.
Exterior condition:
The cream-colour bodywork offers a uniform finish and a strong overall presentation; the fibreglass panels are original and testify to the care taken by the various owners. This generation, equipped with 5‑spoke alloy wheels shod with recent Mickey Thompson tyres, strengthens the model’s muscular silhouette. The T-Top roof is in perfect condition.
Interior condition:
The interior is entirely original, in a superb brick-red shade, well preserved for a vehicle over 40 years old. The bucket seats in leather show a sublime patina with no irreversible defects, the carpets are in good condition. The dashboard and controls are authentic.
Mechanical condition:
This Corvette has benefited from several mechanical interventions since its arrival in France. A general service was carried out at purchase in 2015, including replacement of the tyres and the complete exhaust system. More recently, in 2023, a new service was performed: brake calipers and master cylinder replaced, gearbox inspection with filter change, complete overhauling of the electrical and cooling circuits. The Small Block V8 engine starts reliably and delivers the typical, captivating rumble of the muscle cars of its era.
