Beautiful 1962 FIAT 500 D, in superb condition, renovated in our workshops: bodywork, upholstery, mechanicals.
Engine rebuilt in June.
Vehicle has been known in our workshops for 22 years, floors replaced in 2004 by us, monitored since, no corrosion; this little car is very handsome, the bodywork was redone at the end of 2024.
The 500 D isn’t the most popular, unlike the 500 F or L, but it’s starting to become rare; it is authentic, friendly, legendary... It’s waiting for you; you need to come and see it, try it, breathe it in for a test drive, live a bit with it, adopt it and then enjoy it daily. I’ve added as many photos as possible, please don’t ask me to send more photos—seeing it is far better, even if you’re coming from afar, it will give you an excuse to visit Forcalquier (04) where it sleeps, waiting for you.
Mechanical: new clutch, cylinders/ pistons/ piston rings new, all engine gaskets replaced, gearbox replaced, handbrake cables new, thermo-lacquered engine covers, new hub bearings, brakes OK, carburettor overhauled, steering box and tie-rod ends OK.
Bodywork: bodywork redone at the end of 2024, floors replaced in 2004 by our workshops, regular corrosion checks over 20 years. Very clean in the paintwork, underbody treated against corrosion but not blackened! Hollow body treated.
Upholstery: new carpets, door sill chrome new, upholstery in good condition.
Just so you know, the price is firm; it is fully in line with the market price and the condition of the vehicle.
