The SOVRA LM1 is one of the most iconic French buggies of the 1970s–80s.
LM Sovra (Landois Michel & Société de Vente et de Réparation Automobile) is a French automotive manufacturer.
A handcrafted production which started with buggies, then with derivatives of large-series French vehicles. Its workshops are based in Corbeilles-en-Gâtinais (Loiret).
Made on the basis of a Volkswagen Beetle chassis, the LM1 stands out for its build quality, meticulous finish and harmonious lines.
A true leisure car in the 70s–80s, the Sovra LM1 symbolises freedom, carefree living and the pleasure of open-air driving.
Its name, LM for Landois Michel, remains today a badge of authenticity and rarity among vintage buggies.
Having become a sought-after collector’s model, it still appeals to enthusiasts with its timeless design, Volkswagen mechanical simplicity and the robustness of its French artisanal construction.
