The coachwork was restored a few years ago, and the body received a full fresh repaint. After a professional polish performed with an orbital polisher by our workshop, we noted a small paint chip on the top of the rear wings, two small touch-ups on the engine bonnet, and two small defects under the paint at the fuel tank on the right side. The chromed bumpers and overriders are in excellent condition, with no dents, deformation or corrosion. The chrome grille is also in excellent condition. The fabric hood in beige is in very good condition despite a small tear on the driver’s side. This example is equipped with the optional “side screens” including the four side windows as well as the Wind Shots. Their fit with the hood remains average. The 4 chrome wire wheels and the chrome knock-offs are in excellent condition. The two front tyres will be replaced with new ones before delivery. The rear tyres by TOYO show 20% wear. This exemplar is equipped with its original spare wheel (wire chrome wheel), as well as its jack, mallet and starting handle. Among the notable “Body / Exterior” features of this exemplar are the 4 chrome wire wheels as well as the Side screens and Wind Shots. Interior: The interior presents well. The green leather upholstery has a consistent patina. The wood veneer dashboard shows some delamination. All of the JAEGER instruments and the LUCAS ammeter are fully functional except for the instrument panel backlighting. This car is equipped with the original 3‑spoke steering wheel and an original Bakelite gear knob, both free of major defects. The beige faux leather door panels are in very good condition. The same applies to the Black carpets and MG floor mats. This exemplar is equipped with a passenger grab handle MG. Among the notable interior features include the presence of the original steering wheel and the passenger grab handle. Chassis: The rolling road inspection confirms a sound chassis and body, with no signs of collision or apparent structural corrosion. The basics: ladder-type chassis, fulcrums, wheel arches, sills and longerons are in very good order. Practical reserve: as a matter of principle we cannot guarantee perfect alignment beyond what is visibly and functionally validated during road test and on the hoist. The wooden floors are also in very good condition, with no cracks, breaks or signs of rot or infestation. During the dynamic test, we did not detect any unusual noises from the body or the suspension components (ball joints, bushings, etc.). The braking is balanced and in keeping with period standards, with no vibrations or unusual noises. The front and rear drums are fully functional and free from seepage traces. The on-vehicle technical inspection conducted by our workshop prior to delivery...
