The coachwork was restored a few years ago and is presently in good cosmetic condition. We note various small paintwork defects given the age of the restoration: patina, marbling, and dust under the paint. The chromes are complete, straight and correctly aligned. They show very light surface oxidation. The bumpers and their rubbers show no major deformation or marked rubbing. The faux leather cap in “Black” is in perfect condition. It is currently in good condition, with no snags. The mica glass is perfectly translucent. Fitting of the assembly is easy and the seal remains as original. The four Black 15’’ Morgan wire wheels are in excellent condition, with no dents or deformations. The four Hankook tyres show 15% wear on both front and rear. This example retains its 15’’ Black wire spare wheel along with its mallet and jack. Among the notable exterior equipment and options this model features: the badge holder, chromed petrol cap and five 15’’ Black Morgan wire wheels. Interior: The interior was refurbished a few years ago. The Black faux leather upholstery is in very good presentation condition with no discolouration or major defects. We note minor patina, usual and uniform, as well as a small nick on the passenger seat back. The wooden dashboard is not warped or cracked. We note the absence of the dash trim cover. The Black faux leather cap is in good condition. The SMITHS onboard instrumentation is fully functional. This example is fitted with a Morgan 3-spoke wooden steering wheel showing signs of wear. The bakelite gear knob is in good condition. It is fitted with retracting seat belts. Among the notable interior equipment, we note the wooden dashboard, the Morgan wooden 3-spoke steering wheel and the retracting seat belts. Chassis: The examination confirms a sound body and chassis, with no visible accident damage or apparent structural corrosion. The fundamentals: sills, wheel arches, wheel passages, ladder-type chassis and longitudinals are in very good condition. The floorboards are in very good condition, with no cracks, delamination or signs of infestation. Usage note: in principle we cannot guarantee perfect alignment beyond their good visual and functional state validated during road testing and lifting onto the ramp. During the dynamic test, we did not detect any abnormal droning noises from the body or running gear (ball joints, bushings, etc.). The handling is improved by the installation of KONI rear shock absorbers. Braking is aligned, stable and in line with the era’s norms. The front discs show 20% wear and their pads 25%. The rear drums show no leakage traces. The technical inspection prior to delivery by our workshop will confirm the overall good operation. Engine / Transmission: The Ford mechanics are running...
