Since 2006, this “Monti” has been at the service of the former Alfa Classic Center (ACC), today Scuderia Sportiva Servizio in Dortmund. At the request of its last owner, this sports car was completely overhauled, modernised and optimised during a restoration process of nearly two years. The following work was carried out for this purpose: - full body restoration - new paint in the original Alfa Romeo colour “Giallo” - engine overhaul, including adaptation to modern electronic fuel injection and ignition - installation of speed-sensitive power steering for improved driving comfort - chassis optimisation by ACC, reinforced front stabiliser bar and 4-piston braking system on the front axle - air conditioning modernisation, switch to the more eco-friendly R134a refrigerant - Borbet wheels (the original Montreal wheels are available) - Tourino sport seats, the original seat system having been retained Since its restoration, this Montreal had been part of an exclusive collection of classic cars and has covered only about 8, 000 km during this period. Consequently, the vehicle is today in almost perfect condition. All maintenance work has been carefully documented and regularly performed by the ACC in Dortmund.
