On behalf of my parents, I’m handling the sale of this magnificent 1986 Range Rover Classic, fitted with the 3. 9 V8 and a 4-speed automatic gearbox, with just 82, 000 km on the clock.
This isn’t its original engine.
When it left the factory, it was fitted with the 3. 5 V8.
It has just come out of a major service at St Lunaire Automobile and it passed its MOT with flying colours.
A historic, timeless vehicle, ready to hit the road. It starts instantly, with a very melodic growl.
Of course, there will still be a few small things to sort: the rear window is proving problematic, so it’s currently impossible to open the tailgate, even though I was able to open and close it last weekend.
The electric windows are also a bit temperamental on the passenger side.
