For sale: a very beautiful 1960 Mercedes 190 SL with 39, 000 km (five-digit odometer)
• Exceptional history: European-origin vehicle. First owner from 1960 to 2022, rare and guaranteeing clear, well-documented provenance (purchase invoice, period documents, etc.). Never involved in an accident.
• Authenticity: interior, engine bay and underbody are preserved in their original condition, offering an authentic patina unobtainable on models restored to as-new condition.
• Maintenance & Mechanical: Regular use in dry conditions. Recent inspection including:
- New radiator
- Spark plugs and oil change up to date
- Technical inspection (CT) OK
- Weber carburettors, more reliable and easier to tune than the original Solex
• Bodywork: Very good alignments. Repainted 40 years ago (period invoice in Belgian francs available). The paint shows excellent overall condition with minor age-related flaws, bearing witness to the vehicle’s history (dings or bulges).
