This 1961 VW Beetle is presented in the classic black colour (L41) and largely retains its original paint. It comes from Sweden – and as everyone knows, Swedish cars are often among the best preserved and most authentic.
1961 was a particular year for the Beetle, full of novelties:
First year with the 34 hp DIN / 40 hp SAE engine
Disappearance of the wing indicators (semaphores)
But still the charming little oval rear lights
According to our assessment, this car has never been welded and remains very original. A true time capsule: not a jumble of parts, but a Beetle that has simply aged naturally, like it did from the factory.

The chassis and the underside of the heating ducts are in remarkably clean condition.
Inside, everything is original: seats, carpets, floor mats and headliner – exactly as in 1961.
