Description
MG TC from 1948, XPAG engine 1250 cc, 54 bhp, chassis No. 10084, engine No. B51791.
The MG-TC is the archetype of British sports cars. Created after the Second World War, it was the pioneer of a long line of sports cars.
This example was returned from the US in 2013 where it has been completely rebuilt from the chassis up. It is certainly the most iconic model of the MG Midget, easy and enjoyable to drive with the wind in your hair, whether cruising or rallying.
Even though 54 bhp today is not phenomenal power, let us remember that the early Renault 4CVs of that era developed 18 bhp!
