This is a rust free Californian car, now fully registered in France with a collector's registration in my name.
The latest-generation Jaguar AJ16 4. 0-litre engine is widely regarded as the most reliable and well-developed engine ever fitted to the XJS, offering smooth performance, excellent durability and far less operating complexity than previous models.
This 1994 model also benefits from protruding rear disc brakes, which make servicing considerably easier than earlier configurations with recessed disc brakes, and the car has had three owners since its introduction, including a Jaguar-trained technician (2013-2017), which is reflected in its handling and maintenance.
As a long-term Jaguar owner (this is my fifth, following a Jaguar E-Type, Jaguar Mark 2, Jaguar XJ6 and Jaguar XJ40), I have always maintained the car with care and used it as intended.
