Description
Capots Vintage, specialist in sports and collectible vehicles in Lyon, offers for sale a 1960 Jaguar MK2 3. 8L:
Launched in the late 1950s, the Jaguar MK2 quickly established itself as one of the most capable and stylish saloons of its era. Valued for its balance of comfort, sportiness and refinement, it left a mark on automotive history both on road and on track.
As evidenced by Jaguar Heritage, the model we present is a 3. 8L version, delivered new in Paris by the official importer Delecroix on 14 January 1960. Shown in an elegant black-on-black configuration, it is distinguished by its chrome-rimmed wire wheels and yellow lights, creating a handsome contrast. Historically, this vehicle has had only three owners since 1985.
The engine, matching number (head and block), is fitted with two SU HD8 carburettors and paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. The braking system has been upgraded with the installation of a ventilated disc kit with four-piston calipers. In terms of equipment, the vehicle features a stainless steel exhaust, a kill switch, three-point belts and a neo-retro designed radio.
Trade-in possible against your sports or collectible vehicle.
