Red MGB GT with overdrive, 1970.
The car runs well most of the time.
Partial history known (I have papers/ invoices dating from the 1980s/ 1990s, as far as I can recall).
Recent works carried out:
- gearbox replaced with a new one
- new exhaust
- fuel pump and fuel system renewed
- rear brakes fully rebuilt (drums and shoes) and the system bled
The overdrive was replaced in 2023 by the previous owner; it is nearly new.
Items to budget for:
The engine mounts are starting to wear, according to the garage that did the gearbox replacement, but nothing urgent.
The car runs well even in cold weather and is kept in an underground car park, sheltered from humidity and the elements.
I added a CarPlay-enabled head unit with a rear camera and JBL speakers (there is the option to reinstall the original centre console and remove the rear camera).
The car runs well; a complete folder of documents/ invoices will be provided with the car.
