Description
"You’re not buying a means of transport, you’re buying style and quality."
The Mercedes-Benz SL R107: sporty, elegant, but with that solid luxury that only our German neighbours master.
The new SL, introduced in 1971, enjoyed sensational commercial success from the moment it launched. It wasn’t obvious at the time. Back then, the car was more expensive than a Ferrari Dino 246 GT and twice as pricey as a Jaguar E-Type.
Although its value later fell quite a bit, it has proven to be an excellent investment in recent years. As a classic, it fares remarkably well: a genuine blue-chip.
At Cool Classic Club, we love these cars because they meet so many criteria. A perfect V8, stunning chrome, interior design typical of the 70s, plenty of space and technology with excellent reliability. A modern driving experience in an icon of the 70s.
Our specimen is a model delivered in Germany. It is powered by a 3. 5-litre V8 that carries you with style and ease from point A to point B. Taking detours is absolutely no problem.
The metallic gold paintwork paired with a black leather interior really makes this car shine, especially with the roof down.
Before arriving with us, it benefited from major servicing, allowing you to traverse the Alps to the Ligurian Sea without a worry.
Come to discover it with us.
