Selling Jean's Beetle, limited edition (1973/ 1974), as is, knowing the car since its new purchase in 1974 by a work colleague, but having since lost sight of them, I still think the mileage is real. It’s a third-hand to my knowledge, a good fifty years old but still very enticing! No major mechanical issues known to date, whether engine, which starts at the turn of the key, brakes, steering, clutch, but with age-related faults notably the interior, upholstery, headlining etc... and the paint, all original, so in need of restoration. Also note corrosion on the driver’s floor pan, a recurring defect it seems, (front right side no problem), and running boards to be replaced, elsewhere no notable issues, it’s clearly a very good base that requires, however, a good overhaul and some proper care, as I use it very little and sadly less and less often, the main reason why I decided to part with it!
