Description

CLEMENT BAYARD Type 4M5 1913

Adolphe Clément was born in the Oise department in 1855.
Very enterprising, he first made bicycles, then joined forces with Gladiator before founding his own brand in 1903.

The CLEMENT BAYARD name pays tribute to the famous knight “fearless and beyond reproach”, and it’s this motto that the man and the marque will adopt up to 1922.

This CLEMENT BAYARD 4-cylinder model is a smart little open-top, light, easy to handle and elegant, and in very good condition.
Its previous restoration has a few minor cosmetic imperfections linked to its age; it will be simple to enhance it as you wish.
This sturdy little cabriolet is also straightforward to maintain thanks to its wire-spoke wheels. The four tyres are new, and after an appropriate service it will be ready to take on the “ancestors” rallies, fearless and beyond reproach, just like its protective knight.

The engine has been restarted and runs very well.

No registration document, but it’s sold with a recent FFVE certificate and there’s the option to issue an invoice.
