1978 Volkswagen Combi T2B, ready to hit the road.
This vehicle offers a complete and functional conversion with a pop-top roof equipped with a new canvas. It provides four berths (two on the floor and two under the roof) as well as an additional child bed thanks to a hammock at the front, supplied with the vehicle.
The interior space includes a fitted kitchenette with sink, tap, two-burner gas hob and a 40-litre EZA compressor fridge (3 years old). Plenty of storage space. A stationary heater has also been installed recently, allowing year-round use. The vehicle is sold with its interior insulation as well as an external insulating capote.
Mechanically, the 1600 cc engine starts at the turn of the key and runs very well. The vehicle is reliable and can handle long journeys. A complete file of invoices is available, representing more than €12, 000 of works, maintenance and improvements.
The bodywork was repainted about six years ago. It shows a few minor rust spots, consistent with the vehicle's age.
Originally German, this combi is now registered in France with a VASP 5-seater registration. The February 2025 MOT is clear of advisories and will be redone for sale.
Note: three lap belts are fitted on the rear bench.
