What makes the 40th Anniversary special The factory option carried the RPO code Z25 and was available on Coupés, Cabriolets and even the ZR-1. It included:

Power sport seats with “40th Anniversary” embroidery
Matched wheel centre caps
Specific badges on the fenders and bodywork
Exclusive interior trim This pack cost about $1, 455 at the time.

Production The figures generally accepted are:
Total Corvette production in 1993: 21, 590 units
Corvettes equipped with the 40th Anniversary pack: 6, 749 units
40th Anniversary Cabriolets: 2, 043 units
40th Anniversary ZR-1: approximately 240 to 245 units depending on sources.
Only 500 Anniversary Z25 Cabriolets were built with the 6-speed manual.
How to recognise a genuine 40th Anniversary?
The options tag (RPO) with the Z25 code.
Ruby Red exterior AND interior colour.
“40th Anniversary” logos on the fenders.
Embroidery on the headrests.
Warning: virtually all 1993 Corvettes received the anniversary embroidery on the seats, even without the Z25 pack, due to a production decision. The Z25 code therefore remains the best way to authenticate the special edition.
