Registered in June 1968, its first owner probably had to wait a few weeks before taking the wheel of his new Mercedes, until the events of May 68 had settled down. A wait that was certainly soon forgotten.
From French origin, this 280 SL has had just two owners since its first registration and shows only 92, 500 certified kilometres. A configuration particularly sought after by collectors, as French-spec examples in manual transmission with a clear history are now genuinely exceptional.
Painted in an elegant Mercedes Anthracite Grey, it was originally supplied in Mercedes Aluminium Grey, in line with its Mercedes-Benz Data Card.
