Partial restoration carried out and put back on the road in September 2025 (complete file).
Runs regularly.
List of work carried out:
• Front and rear suspension (stripping/ stripping back, paint, replacement of ball joints, bushes/ silent-blocks, front-end geometry set-up and replacement of both rear shock absorbers).
• Steering (replacement of ball joints and track rod/ tie-rod ends).
• Full brake system refurbishment (discs, pads, drums, linings, hoses and flexi hoses, master cylinder) and bleeding of the circuit.
• Stripping and painting the 3 engine-block mountings/ suspensions.
• Cleaning, and flushing of the radiator and the cooling circuit. Replacement of the thermostat and the fan sensor/ probe.
• Oil change and replacement of spark plugs, air filter and oil filter, plus fluids (engine oil, coolant water).
• Replacement of the exhaust downpipe/ exhaust line and the engine silent-blocks.
• Replacement of the carburettor base gasket/ seal and anti-pollution adjustment.
• Refurbishment of the dashboard panel.
• Replacement of the exterior mirror, driver’s side.
• Replacement of the front bumper and refurbishment (paintwork) of both the front and rear bumpers.
• Replacement of the stops and the sliding-track springs for both front seats.
• Replacement of the radiator fan switch sensor and the thermostat (brand new condition).
• Replacement of the thermal and acoustic insulation for the cabin floor.
• Replacement of the headlight and light bulbs (brand new condition).
• Replacement of the two windscreen wiper blades (brand new condition).
• Replacement of the engine bonnet release cable (brand new).
• Replacement of the door handle and its lock, driver’s side (brand new condition).
• Re-equipment/ refurbishment of the lens covers for both headlamp globes.
• Re-equipment/ refurbishment of the rear parcel shelf.
• Cleaning of the interior trims and plastics.
• Replacement of the windscreen wiper motor and refurbishment of the wiper mechanism (stripping, painting and greasing).
• Replacement of the horn and the cabin ventilation fan/ blower.
• Replacement of the light ignition switch (brand new condition).
• Replacement of all 4 tyres (brand new condition).
• Headlight alignment and refurbishment of the two front indicators.
• Replacement of the front seat upholstery/ trim.
Clean and (very) sound bodywork and chassis.
Rear bench upholstery set (from a Scirocco b2) and a few loose parts included.
Last MOT—no advisories (dated 09/ 2025).
Another MOT will be carried out for the sale.
