Car stored for a few years; I started the restoration with brand-new front brakes (calipers, fluid change, hoses, pads), an oil change, painting the wheels plus 4 new tyres, and mechanical repairs following a breakdown (completely new ignition, alternator sensor),...
Works brilliantly now! Engine/ gearbox spot on!!!
Bodywork and paint present very nicely (8. 5/ 10), however there are small blisters on the front of the front wings that need treating and repainting.
Interior is decent with a nice “houndstooth footed” configuration, good condition, central console with faults.
Soft top is at the end of its life.
No oil leaks, no noises when driving — everything is functional!
Air conditioning present, but needs checking.
In its current state the car can absolutely be driven as it is; however there will still be a few bodywork issues, such as the passenger floor to be replaced (perforating corrosion). The driver’s floor had already been replaced...
Overall, the restoration is still to be continued.
Unfindable at this price!!! No time-wasters please.
Imported into France and stored in view of me carrying out the refurb for myself; full paperwork (registration, 846 A, FFVE, etc.). The registration procedures will be taken care of. With a temporary WW and plates in the purchaser’s name; the only thing left will be the next MOT.
Restored value around €30k...
